Toolzify operates with a privacy-first mindset. We collect only what is needed to run the site, improve stability, and respond to your requests.
Information We Collect
- Service logs: IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps captured by the web server for security and uptime monitoring.
- Contact details: Name, email, and message content when you write to us.
- Usage analytics: When enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions using cookies and device/browser information. This is separate from the first-party usage estimates described below. Tool inputs and outputs are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
How We Use Information
- Operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose issues.
- Respond to questions, feature requests, or support tickets.
- Improve tool accuracy and usability based on aggregated trends.
- Serve and measure advertising when enabled.
Cookies and Advertising
Toolzify uses first-party cookies for the community features and administrator sessions described below. When Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to personalize ads where permitted. You can manage personalization through Google My Ad Center and learn how Google uses information from partner sites. Browser cookie settings also provide controls; blocking cookies can affect site features.
File Processing and Uploads
Most tools process content locally in your browser when JavaScript is available. Server-side fallback requests send the supplied content to our hosting server. Temporary image uploads and processed downloads may remain for up to two hours during normal scheduled cleanup; download links expire after one hour. Browser-only processing does not upload the selected image to our server. We do not sell uploads or use them to train models. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be shared with service providers such as hosting, analytics, or advertising partners solely to operate the site.
Community Features and Form Protection
Blog comments collect your display name, email, optional website, and comment. Emails are visible to the administrator but not published. Comments are held for review. The contact form stores your name, email, subject, and message in the private administrator inbox; it does not send an automatic reply.
Google reCAPTCHA verifies public comments, contact submissions, and likes. Its widget may process browser and connection information to check for abuse. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. The verification secret stays on the server. We also apply server-side submission limits and reject verification failures.
Utility tools do not require CAPTCHA. Server-side tool submissions still use request-size limits, submission rate limits, and CSRF protection.
A signed first-party visitor cookie, retained for up to 30 days, supports anonymous article likes and reader-visit estimates. View events use a hashed visitor identifier, not your name or email. Repeat visits to an article in the same IST day count once; clearing cookies can affect these estimates. Detailed view events are removed after 30 days by daily cleanup, while aggregate counters and active likes remain. Rate-limit files contain hashed keys and short-lived counters, and expired files are cleaned daily. Admin login uses a separate secure session cookie.
Retention
Tool-attempt analytics records the catalog tool name, a hashed browser identifier, and the IST date. It counts each browser once per tool per day and does not collect form inputs, uploaded files, or generated output. Detailed tool events are removed after 30 days; anonymous daily totals are retained for up to 400 days. These are usage estimates, not confirmed successful completions. Admin visits and obvious bots are excluded.
The private blog editor keeps recovery drafts for up to 30 days and the latest 50 saved article snapshots for version restoration. Uploaded editorial images may be resized into WebP variants for delivery; they remain associated with the site's published content.
Server logs are retained for a short period for security. Contact emails are kept as long as needed to respond. Temporary server-side image files are removed by hourly cleanup once they are at least one hour old, so normal retention can be up to two hours.
Your Choices
- Disable or clear cookies in your browser if you do not want them stored.
- Email support@toolzify.in to request access, updates, or deletion of contact information you have provided.
- Do not upload sensitive personal data; the tools are designed for utility tasks, not for storing personal records.
